Sorry to come across as dense, but I'm curious. Do you mean like a fortune teller before you were a Christian or someone who was speaking for God? I hope you don't let someone's words slow you down in your ambitions.
I had a bad sign once. We buried Alison's placenta and planted a tree on top of it. The tree died. I'm not even superstitious, but that bothered me. I mostly don't think about it though because the fact is it was a dry spring and I was so busy taking care of two babies while Richard worked two jobs that I never felt like dragging the hose out to the new tree, and that's why it died. Still, it creeped me out for a while.
