Its tricky to rock around to rock around that's right on time its tricky.

I was looking at Holly's blog over there on my blog roll. She just moved to San Francisco not long ago, and today, my heart tore out just a little bit as i looked at her flickr photos of the path that she takes to work. I remember San Fran as one of the highlights of my life, fun and naughty all rolled up into one. Sigh. Sophie is or was in India, following her dream, not being a tourist but being "the people". Raising my kids inside a nice picket fence sounds nice and safe, but raising them in a small apartment in Italy sounds a lot more unique. walking to the grocery store, the flower store, the bakery... America is so different. I think i was meant to be euro. i hate super malls and super targets.... i like little quirky winding streets , mopeds, and siestas. everyone should get a break in the middle of the afternoon, yes?

in other news, i put in a contract today for some clients. oh God. it is sketchy. i love/hate/love/hate my job. Today was a total migraney-stress freaking nightmare. there was a war going on with the contract- it was like we were in Cali and clients were battling for a house! YIKES. i seriously need a Valium today.

In other other news, i am 2 weeks out of a retreat i have been planning for the women at my church. 2 weeks i say. not a good week for a battle over the house war.... i am in the weeds. it is going well, but i like to do things RIGHT so i am angst ridden.

justa, what day is top ten day?
here are mine.. i am so tart.
1. Baila Baila con migo-Salsa
2. It's Tricky- Beastie Boys for Holly (cause when we moved to SF, we had no furniture, so we promptly went to yard sales and bought a TURNTABLE and 50 vinyls- one of them being the beastie boys. Its Tricky reminds me of warm summer days (amid freaking freezing days!) windows open blaring this song.
3. Promiscuous Girl- Nelly
4. When the Stars go blue- Tim McGraw ( eww i hate country)
5. Steal my sunshine- Len
6. Accidentaly in love- Counting Crows
7. Tangerine- Led Zeppelin

Any day that has a top ten that ends with Sublime is a good day for random ten.

I didn't get those days off for the retreat. But I guess we can make out own retreat right?
Let's move to Europe, I've never even been but I know I would love it. Italy you say? I was thinking Germany but I'll go if you go! :) Did I ever tell you I hate suburbia? It makes my skin crawl, I need out!! Like your top ten, and miss you This sounds more like a phone conversation then a blog comment. Love ya!

I've heard of Led Zeppelin!

I lived in London, and it wasn't that special. The inexpensive beer and friendly people really get on your nerves after a while.
