So, what are your plans for Valentine's Day? I know it stresses Wesley out just in the fact that he does bring me flowers, treats, oprah magazines, etc...weekly... Now he is supposed to try to think of something to top what he has been doing all year? Valentines is for slackers who have screwed up all year and now need to make it up to their girls? NO!! i disagree. Valentines is a special day to just show a little romance- play a little naughty. AS in last year... ROFL
Today, how appropriate, a Tiffany catalog came. That has to be my favorite color in the whole world, and I am now dedicating this whole post to Tiffany blue. I love the catalog. I was told (maybe jokingly) to circle everything that i LOVE. ahhh be still my heart. the first is the COVER- the onyx black pearl string with the tiffany toggle.
I am not a tiffany virgin. I have been blessed with three lovely pieces.. that if my house were on fire, and for some CRAZY reason i was not sporting my lovely toggle return to tiffany bracelet and necklace , i would rush back into the burning structure to save!! the ring, i call it the anniversary ring ( got for my 10th yr in aug) is firmly imbedded on my ring finger and will never come off!!
I do have a point to this post. What is your idea of a perfect Valentines day? And if your mate is not going to make it happen , why aren't you? i think so much pressure is put on our men, and when they don't come through, we get upset.. . but if you are not talking it up, expecting anything, than it is YOUR FAULT! IMO! it is a mutual thing. I can't take it when people don't celebrate because they think it is "cheesy".. It is a chance to celebrate your love.. what you have or what you HAD at one point. Why not be creative? Everyone is human with emotions... why wouldn't you want to make your significant other feel delicious on this day? Don't use your kids or no money as an excuse because i will email you with tons of suggestions... So, spill it ... what is on the menu?? make it cereal!!

Trey bought me a heart-shaped box of candy from the kids last night. I told him that if he wants to make my Valentine's Day REALLY special, he can wash the dishes for me! Yeah, I've been putting it off for a while lately...not in the mood I guess...and they need it BAD! Yeah, now that's LOVE!

You'll hate this but I'd forgotten about Valentines Day completely. Mind you, I don't go to the shops much, have only been to the supermarket since coming home and there is bugger all Valentines stuff on display there.
Perhaps you guys do it a lot bigger over there?
Usually though we give it a miss. We say I love you every day and that keeps us happy. You have got me thinking though, he sure won't expect me to do anything...

i absolutely do not disagree- it is the slackers though that look like idiots buying their wives cheesy stuff at the last minute.
not everyone is as blessed as ME AND the WIFEY. yes, we are lucky women indeed.... we get flowers, treats throughout the year... and maybe get wooed on the 14 as well.
