So. last night my DH brought home roses-12 white and 12 peach-GORGEOUS. today, i am cleaning up, making dinner, trying to go all out ~cheesy Valentine's day feelings abounding. I straighten our bedroom, which is always a God awful mess, so that is a treat in itself. I decide to SEX the room up a bit. put his new Michael Buble CD in the player, put tealight candles everywhere, spray some nice linen spray, but am not satisfied yet. AHA! remember the roses. I grab a white rose and begin the sexing up the bedroom. I start peeling and scattering the one white rose over the comforter. It looks like a can of pringles exploded on the bed. all perfect and -u- shaped. NOT THE LOOK I AM GOING FOR! so i go out to the living room, and grab a peach rose to sacrifice- hey it is for a good cause, right? Start peeling and scattering. Something is not right- it looks like a potato chip lovers paradise in my bedroom- plain and now BARBEQUE flavored pringles littering the bed.
Should have picked up the fake petals at walmart for 1.77 while i was there yesterday. ROFL> at least Wes will get a good laugh, right?
Are you having a good day? Wes brought me nachos and paradise pie from Chili's last night (MY FAVS) and an Oprah magazine along with the flowers. I heart today.

You make me laugh with the cereal post. :) YOu are so funny. I love Michael Buble. I got that new cd too. WE didn't do v day this year but we did get an offer on our house. TWO offers. :)

I just read your divorce post. Funny, Bryan and I had the EXACT same conversation. How we can't imagine how people with kids can't work it out. I mean, it's one thing if there is abuse or addiction involved or something like that involved, but lots just say "we can't get along". I don't get it. Of course, we were married 12 years before we HAD kids, so maybe I just have a good match. :)

Ahhh, how sweet. I got a little plastic heart with sweetarts in it, and Trey calling me at 3 am to let me know he was out drunk with a guy from work, and that I would be late to my job. Romance at its best!
