Mums the word

I bought my first mum. it is very pretty out on the front porch. i need to get the "fall box" out of the attic with wreath and decos. my kids love decorating for fall, but they like all of the tacky pumpkins and stuff! LOL> we compromise.
it is chilly cold out this morning- although it may be 80's by this afternoon, it is nice now. i am getting so excited about Christmas!! so far i have bought presents for Taryn my niece, Carter Rose my cousin , and Travis my nephew, all of whom are babies. Hit the sales while i can... so what if they are getting summer clothes?? they will love it when summer comes around.
I am scrapbooking tonight if i can get a sitter... wes has to work late. other than that, and pricking my finger every two seconds and scouring the grocery stores for sugar free junk, i think i am gonna make it. LOL> have a lovely fall day!!

I also had gestational diabetes. I'm scared that I'm going to get regular diabetes because it runs in my family as well. Sigh. Sorry to hear you have it. One thing about the gestational diabetes is it made me eat very healthy. Glad they were able to find it so you can begin treating it.
I wish I had a fall. I'm tired of record highs. sigh.
I wish I could get out and scrapbook!! I'm jealous! :)

Its been soooo cold here in the mornings! I wish I enjoyed scrapping. Erica LOVES it, but i dont have the patients for it. I love decorating for Fall! I need to get some corn stalks for my front porch. I have a few falls things out, but need to finish it up. I cant believe winter is almost here! Ugggg!
