Yo Yo Yo Yo---- fun at the endocrino

i was on the side of town where my endocrinologist is, so i decided to pop in for some much needed lab work... i ran out of my thyroid meds 3 months ago ... bad bad bad!! i have been feeling... well, like i have been run over by a mack truck- tired, irritable, more so than just normal mommy stress. i KNEW my thyroid was out of whack.
i managed to beg them to squeeze me in with the NP, since they said it was too long ago that i got labs done, and i needed to be seen to fill a prescription. LONGG story short, she tested my blood sugar, and guess what? i have diabetes. thanks mom , thanks dad. i knew i would eventually get it b/c i had gestational diabetes, but i didnt know so soon.
SOOO none of my body's organs can manage to secrete correctly. i guess i will be on a diet/pills for the rest of my life.
that was my day yesterday. I suppose today i will rejoice and be glad in it, people go through lots more than this. (can't i have a teeeeeny pity party?)

thanks all.. didnt know they had sugar free starbucks coffee brownie ice cream. maybe i will live!! LOL
