Vacations all i ever wanted

We are packing up for our trip to Texas. This year it is working out kinda strange. Wes gets vacation but not soon enough for him to make the trip with us... so we are ...gasp... driving by ourselves, me and the kids. I think it will be okay. I am kind of nervous about it , but hey, i want to go, so what is a girl to do? I am going to stop in Houston to see Missy for a day or two. ... my mom is going to meet me there and take the kids so i can have full attention on my friend and her baby. I would like to break the trip in Pensacola and take my kids to the most beautiful beach in the world. I am DEBATING about taking the dog.... that might just set me over the edge. he is a freak, so there would be no "leaving him in the hotel room while we went to the pool/beach/ etc..." so that just answered my dilemmma. Sorry Collin. :(
We plan on doing Sea World (MY FAV!!) possibly Schlitterbahn and tubing down the river. I feel mentally exhausted so i am looking forward to the break. Parents have a beautiful back yard complete with pool and koi pond. It is a real vacation going there.... Mom cooks and spoils, and we live it up. Also the food..... yummy tortillas at every restaurant... taco cabanas on every corner. oh the joy...only bummer is no wesley snif.......
We will prob be gone two weeks and be back in time for Jules to go to cheerleading camp (HAHA) . the summer is flittereing right by. slooowww dowwwwwnnnn.... i say!
So I think the vacation days will be saved and we are going to take a trip for our anniversary- maybe NC or TN. we want to go rafting.

I'm so jealous. Our vacation consists of coming to my mom's house. Now, it might be more fun once she gets the pool set up, though!

Have a good trip. Tell Missy that there are a lot of people concerned about Gage. I went rafting up in NC when I was a kid. It was a lot of fun.

haha gina. i wish. no, seriously, when we drive to my parents house, we always stop at missys house for a night or two. this time though, they will be in the hospital.
