Last night the boys were all about the San Antonio Spurs basketball game. apparantly it is the final of the finals, and they had plans at 9:00 p.m. to watch their spurs. blake had to don his jersey and hat-he needs a costume for everything...it is darling.
Sooo Julia was asleep already and I was bored to tears just THINKING about being in the house with these two rabid basketball fans. I looked on the movie schedule and began calling. First friend i called wanted to know if i wanted to come over and scrapbook instead. I didn't. Then she wanted to know about nachos at chili's. i didnt. i wanted to see a movie!! the next friend i called wanted to know if i wanted to come over for brownies and oceans 12. naw. i wanted to go out. so i made one more attempt, it now being 15 minutes before the movie.... I called my friend Carla, who lives right near the movies and she said HECK YA! we had fun. saw "Guess Who" which really is a dumb movie, but i like Ashton Kutcher, and it was a night out with a friend, popcorn , coke and bootleg M & M's. Very fun. So , spoiled girl i am , have plans to meet Julie at Chili's for those nachos from last night : ) YUM. Did i mention i have the greatest husband ever?
This week is great so far. My kids are enrolled in a Vacation Bible School every day from 9-12. Everyone wins!! They had fun and i went to the gym and was able to get a lot of errands done. I am happy they have a planned morning this week. the weather is supposed to be rainy, and it is good for them to go play and have a good time.
I am off to pretend to make the house look decent. ROFL> it is a pit right now, and i have a couple of hours to whip it into shape.

Sounds like fun. I'm looking forward to taking my kids and their friend, Adrian, to VBS at a neighborhood church next week.

VBS is this week at my church, too. I'm really upset b/c TJ's too young to go. I really think it would have been perfect for this week if he could have gone. Oh well...
I'm gonna see if Gayle will watch him Wed. morning...you need your time off, so I don't want you to have to watch him then.

Sounds like a great night with a friend. I wish I had more days like that. My only time out is to walmart alone. SAD, I have no friends. LOL
We just started going to a new church so I have no idea if they have such a thing as VBS. That would be cool for Mack. I know she would love that.
