I dont even know where to start. My best (non computer) friend in texas, missy, little boy has been sick for a while. he has been non stop throwing up for a longgg time now. he has been to every gastro-enterologist in texas. well, he wasnt doing well yesterday when i talked to her, and last night she took him to texas children's , which is a great hospital. they found a brain tumor and are going to operate. PLEASE pray for them. they are the sweetest family, she has a 6 and a 4 yr old too, so this is all very devestating and stressful for them. Gage is such a sweet little WILD child and he has been lethargic for weeks. she was at her wits end with the doctors. now they know the cause of his illness. i am dying here. we have been best friends for 11 yrs now- you know, the kind you talk to 4 X a week on the phone. Gotta go . just wanted to let any prayer warriors know. PRAY please. I know he is able.

I just got off the phone with Missy, both of us just bawling... she said, "gina, i dont want my baby to die".
Two of my best friends in the world have had brain scans on their babies in the past week. I am soooo thankful mason was okay.
I dont understand why gage has this tumor. I was praying and seeking the Lord on this one. it is too big for me. He said to praise him anyway. I dont know what that means, but if he says it i am going to do it. right now they are doing an MRI to map out the surgery. oh sweet Jesus, can you imagine??

Wow! Well, first, I was praying for Mason, so I'm glad to see he's okay. I was actually going to ask you about that today.
I will put my prayer powers to work, starting right now. That is too scary.

he is in MRI right now. he will be there for 2 hours. i am doing laundry and we will be going to texas for our "vacation" sooner than i thought. poor missy. this is serious stuff. i went and looked up online about baby brain tumors and it is not good. BUT God can do miracles. Praise him for that.

he will be two this weekend. they said the tumor is about the size of a strawberry in his cerebellum. surgery tomorrow.

You know that I am thinking of him. I didn't know his birthday was this weekend. Poor baby boy. I won't stop praying.

I just talked to Missy, and she sounded good and encouraged. the doctor told her he does 80 of these type surgeries a year, the only thing he is worried about is the proximity to the spinal column. our prayers are working because missy is handling this quite well. she is exhausted though, from the nightmare as she calls it. continue on, prayer warriors. :)

he is having surgery tomorrow. i will post after i talk to missy. thanks for asking , girls :) oxox
