This blog is so neglected. Someone call social services!

Some thoughts-

This morning I saw a daddy holding hands with a little girl , walking her into school. He towered over his baby, kind of rushing her along to have her keep up with his wide steps. The child was wearing a way to short dress, with no tights or socks and tennis shoes. Her hair was put into a lop sided pony, no bows or ribbon to dress it up.

It was 38 degrees outside today.

It brought a tear to my eyes though... he doesnt know better than to NOT put her in tights. thats a moms job. i dont want to hear any bullshit about womens lib, "men should know how to do these things"- they are simply not wired! Wes is the best high pony tail fixer in the world, and he can match clothes, but something about a mothers touch to get it just right is still a need ! Simple joys like observing this sweet dad ,make me a big wreck! yes , i cry at AT T commercials. I cried when i read that Amalah was pregnant (- how weird is that? i love bloggers and the lives they lead. There is this whole sub-culture of smart witty women that i want to meet for happy hour. How did they get so lucky and blog for money? well, besides their outstanding writing! i digress)

WE are just busy. I am selling a lot of houses.. maybe that is where i have been. I miss just "being " in my house. I want a whole day of it, with nothing else to do. Ever feel that way?

Oh and I have a twitter now.. wtf is twitter?? if it is online and resembles a *blog *facebook *myspace then i have to have. apparantly i am slow to get one. come be my friend. I am lame and dont know too many tech savvy people who would want/have one... lol

Till next time... promise it wont be a month

oh yeah and happy valentines day! i am now rockin a pair of baby blue puma soccer shorts and smelling roses :) xo

In the large metropolitan city where I live, full grown women wear tights and skirts in the winter, so whatevs. Also, those of us men who teach kindergarten and first grade do learn how to take care of kids, so perhaps it isn't wiring as much as training.

I love seeing Dads with kids as well, melts the heart. But last time I cried at the commercials was when I was pregnant...
Or maybe you're just emotional from your house withdrawals. Selling all those other people's houses must be hard when you miss your own but congratualtions on the real estate success, it sounds great.
