The weekend. my dh is working . being a foodservice widow sucks!! i have been slackign around all day today, took a nap, attempted to clean up, but just got bored. there is not much going on in blogworld.
quick! someone recommend a movie for me to go rent. i had planned a movie day for the moms group tomorrow to go see the Lake House and then dinner. it sounded like a good idea two months ago when i planned it. now that it is tomorrow, i dont know. i cant bear the thought of spending 20 on a sitter , then pay for dinner and movie. 40 bucks for a night that doesnt include my man? i thought i might go, but now i may not.
my broker called to invite us to a Homerun Derby Event tomorrow night at a cool bar in town. Apparantly Century 21 sponsors this charity event on ESPN, and it is a big deal, etc.. i dont know too much about it, but we are going to schmooze and meet the people. need a sitter for that too, you see. that should be a lot of fun.
Tuesday i have jury duty. lol. i am going to try to get out of it by my I HATE GUNS standpoint. think it will work...?
too boring for you all. maybe i will post something interesting later. till then

I am just glad the Q&A for Jury Duty (at least in most of TX?) can be done over the web now... that saved me a couple of times. :o) Anyhow, good luck with it... xoS

In the state of Florida, if you are the legal guardian/primary care taker (mother) of a child less than 7 years of age you are exempt. Try that one. It's worked for me TWICE...damn voters registry!

OH MY GOODNESS! I forgot all about the movies tomorrow night! Man! I was so set to go. I actually thought about it the other day, and since then I haven't thought twice...well, about anything. I wanna go, but I don't know if my mom would appreciate me asking her to watch the kids another night, too, since she's had to watch them four nights this week, and will have to watch them four nights next week. Ugh! I'm so sad! Please let me know when you guys do fun stuff, b/c I will try my best to come!
