First of all, isnt my blog cool now? thanks to kate~she rocks !! so talented.
Secondly, I just got home from "vacation" at my friend Jane's house in Charleston. I dropped the kids with Wesley's mom and said buuhhh byeeee ... off to West Ashley I drove. They live in the prettiest neighborhood~apparantly called Charleston Style.... All different color houses. very cool!! So my hotel...er I mean... my friends house was by far the best accomodations , with yummy burritos and a big bottle of pinot grigio. we aren't talking the little wimpy bottle, but the big mack daddy one. Only the best for her friend. We scrapbooked like mad women, taking time for er.... breaks...it was fun!!! I needed a good girls night out, and i most certainly am not talking about coffee with the Moms group, if you catch my drift! LOL.
Jane is my friend who makes me just bust a gut laughing...she says i am good for her ego, because i laugh at all of her jokes... she is so FUNNY though, it is hard not too. And to top it all off we saw TOM CRUISE at the pool! ROFL.
I met Jane on some moms board - sheesh i cannot remember what exactly.... but we decided to meet up at the mall for a playdate... (our kids were 4 and 5 months old!!!! BA HA as if nowadays) . We hit it off, and i was happy to have another friend. She isn't high maintenence- i can talk to her a few times a year , a few times a month- it doesnt matter. she is just always there. friends like these are good to have. I wish we lived closer though.
Her daughter (and son for the 3 yrs he has been alive :) ) have been to almost all of my kids birthday party's and vice versa. It was fun scrapbooking because it was like, oh here's "L" at 8 months old , and look here is Blake and "L". WE go wayyy back... her kids are perfect angels- they pouted when i left!! :( SWEET babies!!
So thanks Jane for the wonderful time out. what time should i be there this weekend for another go round?
P.S. Angie, remember Jane from the Feb board?
Oh another thing. Tomorrow is our anniversay!! 9 years married and 11 years altogether- omg that is a longgg time!! but it has been great!! we are celebrating by going to Atlanta next week for a Giant's /Braves game. Guess who we go for? hint hint check the page topper.
