I am so utterly annoyed!! I got some virus on the computer. Between the two of us, we have spent all day trying to fix it... me , most importantly, have stayed up till NOW (1:25) running virus scans- It did come up with 46 infected files. NO MORE downloads for me!! It may have been from one of the quizzes on the blogs. be careful fellow bloggers... I am not saying that is what it is from exactly, but i did go to a funky website today to read one. Hope it doesnt make the rounds.

ANYWAY!! whew i am mentally drained. computers are NOT my thing, but no one or nothing better mess with me or my computer. It is far too much a part of my every day entertainment. Now i am getting all of these DUMB pop-ups about the virus scanner "would you like us to block such and such?"- HECK YA

I have decided also, sitting here listening to my fun girl music, that i need to get myself together. How long can i blame my thyroid? although it is legit, i need to go back to the endocrinologist to get back on the meds, and feel better and ultimately lose weight. it is so impossible for me to be responsible enough to take a thyroid pill everyday for the rest of my life (TG for the patch!) I will try again though, or else feel sluggish and be unhappy with my weight my whole life- humm weigh those choices.
I am upping my cardio to 45 min starting tomorrow. I am tired of looking like a suburbia mom... as much as i love my job, gotta keep up with myself. I am getting my manicure pedicure on thursday too! HUMMPPPH!! and may even go get some cancer at the tanning bed!

Did anyone see Oprah today? She did wildest dreams -Enrique Igleisus, Hilary Duff, and Gwen Stephani. I used to not care for Gwen, but she was sooooo cool on Oprah. her mom and dad were in the audience crying about how proud they were of their daughter. i thought she was just some tough rocker chic. Hilary was cute too... her mom was there saying she got put on restriction for being late and got her cell taken away!! BA HA> it was some girls dream to meet hilary, and hilary was so gracious. first thing she said when her "biggest fan" met her was "I Love your outfit!" -that was so nice, for HILARY to compliment this other girl who came to see her! I took the kids to see ... sheesh what was it called....cinderella story starring hilary and she was good. nice girl,. good girl.
And then there was Enrique.... sigh.

I am wired now. Signing off. Tomorrow I will try pilates at the gym for the first time. hopefully help me get some defintion. my arms are beginning to look like weight lifters (NOT the look i am going for)
Have a good Wed.

Spyware is like a virus, but different, if that makes sense. Pop-ups come up, and they download spyware onto your computer, which monitors everywhere you go. Then you get more spyware, and emails and other crap. It's mostly a pain in the butt. If you click on those little highlighted words, they take you to ads for that stuff. You have to have something separate from a virus remover to get rid of most spyware, I think.

Hey Gina
Try downloading a program called "Ad Aware" from download.com. It will scan your computer for spyware.

Another thing to try is if you are using Windows XP, you can download service pack two, which has built in pop up blockers.

Regardless of which version of windows you're using, its always a good idea to keep up with those windows updates! Microsoft is always coming out with security patches...

Computers really suck sometimes don't they?
