I want to pose a few questions for you . No matter your religious beliefs, I want to hear what you have to say.
In your opinion,

How do we make a difference for ETERNITY?

Does anyone want to know why we're alive?

What's the purpose of this life?

I don't know about you , but before I die and leave the world behind, I want to know why I'm alive.

Paul Wright is my new obsession song right at the moment. I am feeling a bit useless in my faith right now , and all over my life really. There is so much more I could be doing! What about you? Is there more you could be doing? If so, why aren't you doing it? That is what I am trying to figure out as well.

Deep for a Monday morning...
Watch and love:

Paul Wright

My life goal is to live such that when I die and meet Christ he can say "Well done my good and faithful servent."

i don't think the answer comes from any system -- religious, political, economic, historical.

if answers come from elsewhere, anyplace other than ourselves, we spend our lifetime quietly (and uncomfortably) doubting them.

The purpose of this life is to help other people in this life. Hopefully, they will be helping you, too.

this is a tough question because you can answer it many different ways.

I think you may be wanting a specific

here's mine-serve others

gosh, everything i write sounds so lame

can i say that there are some fundamental things we strive for like serving God with the work that he has immediately put in front of us (like taking care of our families)

then there are more specific things that I believe may be a process in discovering.

a mentor of mine told me that if I followed God everyday and sought his will that I would find my long term destiny.

I want my life to be whatever it chooses to be. I'm following it. I would like to get my act together and volunteer more. Lately, I've been thinking that I would like to become more politically active, and try to have a hand in making big changes in the country. However, right now I'm just focused on getting through with diapers! I don't worry about what my purpose is, b/c I'm sure that once the time comes for me to know, God will point it out. So far, I think I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. If you worry about it too much, you may spend more time worrying about what you're not doing, and miss what you could be doing.

To be honest, if I think about a deep eternal purpose too much it just makes me sad and confused. I can keep saying why to every answer I come up with and never reach a definitive answer.
