Rejoice with those who rejoice,. weep with those who weep. I have people in my life who do not do this and it is making me very annoyed and hurt. how hard is it really? everyone can muster up a positive comment when a friend tells them something--even if it pains you, even if this friend is not worthy in your opinion of their recent good fortune (the rich get richer). most of the time, i AM genuinely happy when a friend has good news or is excited about something, anything. if i am annoyed, a tad jealous, i fake it big time as not to hurt someone's feelings.
i also hate it when people "one-up" you. always have to have something better, know someone more important,etc...
ugggg i am in a mood. i have had a few conversations with friends the past couple of days who happen to be self-centered.
anyone else get annoyed with these things? sorry i am being kind of bitchy. i need a cafe mocha.
in other news, school is out!! woohoo. i went shopping today for a special friend that i am sending a package to. ditching church tonight to grill out tuna and portabellas :)

anyway, people do that when they see you making progress. It is a good sign for you, although it is annoying. :)
