yoga girlies

2005-03-08

I wrote this whole post yesterday and now it is gone! sigh... lol. I will try to retell it. Julia and I had a good day yesterday while big brother Blake was at school. My gym just started offering a Yogafit class for preschoolers. I have been building it up for the past two weeks, because this girl I have LOVES to go to the gym with her mom...even though she goes in the nursery. Well, Monday was her turn to "essercise" . She got up early, donned work out gear, and we were off at 8`:15 to baby yoga. It was so fun!! We learned "easy listening" , how to be a princess, how to open our hearts (apparantly all baby yoga terms :) HAHA) Anyways, I am always looking for fun things to take her to do... yeah we could have just done it on our living room floor, but how fun is it to go to the gym and go to your own class?
Friday, I am going on a field trip with Blake's class. I went to eat lunch with him today- I try to go every Tuesday because it is so darn fun sitting with him and his whole little possé of friends. lol. they are the "monkey bar burp boys"! BA HA > I love it that he loves that I come to eat with him. People tell me , "oh that will change, just wait" but i am going to stand firm in the belief that No it won't change... that our house will always be the cool place to hang, and he won't mind us being in the background. I know it can be done.

Gina, it is possible. Your house could be the cool place to hang. The neighborhood kids will love it. You will go nuts! Blake could go either way. I do think it's sweet that you go to eat lunch with him like that, though. I can picture you sitting with a bunch of burping 6 year olds...interesting, to say the least! It must be so much, ummmm, fun...

That sounds like a very fun class for Julia. I want to start doing karate or something like that with TJ when he gets a little older. Who knows what I'll do with Taryn. She has yet to divulge to me her budding personality! Although I've already seen that she likes to get on my nerves (literally) just enough, then back off. A smart girl, I see!
