We need a cheap vacation spot to go to Father's Day weekend. We have 500 big ones to spend (the pool membership CHOKE CHOKE was our other vacation dollars). Under 4 hrs would be nice- dont want to waste all of our time driving. thats from columbia, SC. in case you didnt know.

I'm not even sure where South Carolina is in relation to the giant blobby shape that is the US but perhaps something outdoorsy? Canoe trip? River rafting? Camping? Isn't your summer just starting about now?
Probably not a great question for someone from New Zealand to attempt to answer..

We are going to litchfield beach!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! lazy river. beach front. golf for wes.... boardwalk for dinner...... hottub. boogie boards..

You could come to Charleston, where you were already invited... :)
There's beach and tons of fun here. Even though you lived here before, I'm sure the kids haven't seen it enough to remember it.
