25 things that are good for the soul.
- pets- snuggling in your bed at night, lounging on the grass in the sunshine.... i am not talking caged pets either. i am talking free-range pets. all children should have pets...
- solitude- sometimes you just gotta be alone. ALL ALONE.
- the sand- between toes while the water makes its constant noise
- thoughtful people around you.
- music-whatever floats your boat. i am thinking some lively feel good music ( do you have a list of feel good songs that put you in a good mood no matter what? that post might be next. get your list ready)
- goals- because when you accomplish them, it feels priceless
- mentors or people that God puts in your life to help / teach you. if even for one converstation...
- a big brunch - homecooked with the family all around the table, oj in the carafe, flowers on the table, good way to start the day
- bangles
- pedicures
- being told "thank you" and having people appreciate what you did
- fondue nights
- goat cheese spread from Gervais and Vine
- a congratulations sign and roses hand delivered to the office
- a fresh car wash
- ice cold water
- being around easy going people-low maintenance
- micro suede couches (they never get dirty)
- a wink
- the excitement on children's faces at their birthday parties
- not changing out of your pj pants all day
- having people stick up for you-be on your side
- being told I love you from the most important person in your life
- going to Sea World- my happy place on earth (2nd only to the beach)
- holding the soft , small hand of your son or daughter

My pet is great for the soul but also makes me feel guilty when I am not walking him..
All alone is a must; sand and water in the toes is wonderful; music - of course; homecooked family brunch sounds devine, our problem is no proper dining table to speak of yet; and all the other things you said..

i did not know that SeaWorld was a fav place of yours! how cool!
ooo, i love to snuggle with my kids..E and K and hold L's and H's hand...nobody else will let me now! hehe
