Another Outlet for My Reality Obsessed Self

I think I have a split personality. lol. Wesley says the one thing that he likes about me is that I am real- what you see is what you get. I like what I like. I don't see this, but he has insisted over the past 12 yrs that this is true, so I guess I will have to take him at his word.
What got me thinking about it was tonight, i went to church to take julia to choir/dance practice. I was dressed like a complete slob-too long jeans, nasty flops, a surf t-shirt that i have worn every day since my loopie trip and a bad pony- most days this is how it rolls. there was another mom there , a really cool mom that i have been seeking out to be her friend ( do you all do this?) and i sat and talked with her for the two hours. we had the best time, really clicked, she has a tattoo--normally this is not an issue, but here we are in CHURCH so this is rare, she was kind of dressed like me, and it felt good to just be normal with her for a couple of hours.
Other days, i dress up with work clothes, jeans and heels cause that is what i feel like wearing. Nothing wrong with either one, but so different.
I guess what has me cracking up the most is that here i sit , loving the thug that I am , with my fresh dyed roots, tiffany ring , drinking a glass of pinot grigio and eating spanakopita. who the heck am i?? lol. i like what i like and that includes camo shorts, the OC Supertones, Nelly Furtado, pinot out of zig-zag martini glasses, and stained surf shirts.
