The world is your audience. What do you want to say?

Teach your children manners. Nice, well behaved children are too few and far between

Be your kids biggest fan. Dont miss a game, a play, a dance, an opportunity to be room-mom or dad, a field trip.

Make your kids watch their mouths. Foul language out of the mouth of babes is not cute or funny.

Be thoughtful. Take meals to new moms. Take meals when there is a death in a friend's family. Take a friend to coffee for a special ocassion, or for no ocassion at all.

Lend money if you have it. Lend it anonymously. Lend it if you don't have it , yet someone needs it worse than you. Dont expect to get repaid. It feels good to help.

When guests come, place flowers, candy, and magazines on their nightstand. give them your best towels. cook for them. spoil them.

Pay for the person behind you at the toll booth , dollar movie , etc.

Compliment each other. notice when your friend gets a haircut- and not by saying "did you get your hair cut?" rather, "Oh, your hair looks gorgeous!"

Be positive. No one likes a debbie-downer.

Volunteer and take your children with you. No excuses.

Let things slide that really are not all that earthshattering. somewhere, a baby is being diagnosed with a brain tumor, someone just lost their mom, someone just had a fatal accident that makes your life look "not so bad". keep things in perspective.

dont be a know-it-all. dont have a story that will always be about you or be able to "top" someone else. just shut up and listen.

Make birthdays special. the whole sheeee bang... cake, presents, breakfast in bed, making a fuss. everyone deserves one day . make it count.

Pray for your kids outloud so they hear you and hear the blessings you are pouring on them. when something comes to pass, remind them of how you prayed for it .
