Can i just do bullets? it is far less creative, but it is 7:50 in the morn, and I have a meeting in a bit, so no time for a full-out blog.
this guy is going to be the new youth pastor at our church!!!! Do you know how much I love him?? OMG i am dying here!! he is AWESOME> says he is living to make God famous. he is the best. remember him? our souls our souls will sing?? (with a british accent-I am thinking not many of you "got that"... oh well) I am thinking about going to youth church now- I like edgy. boring is NO GOOD.
- They started a new program at our church called masters C*mmissi*n and we are one of the host families. The kids come for 9 months before college and get right with God, learn about serving, etc... these are the neatest group of kids!! (they too are edgy). I got my "name" of the girl who i am adopting and she is so freaking cute and precious! i have already spoiled her with her fav movie from blockbuster, a tub of popcorn and milky ways (her fav candy). I also started a circle journey with HER.
Wes is seriously contemplating an offer with another restaurant. Today is the day he finds out. Brand new Ale House opening up on the main drag in town- if the money is right, he may consider it.
I am worried about the "beach" and our plans for june. He says he can find a job "there" easy, so when we are ready to go, he will just make it happen. I sure hope so.
Julia is in the parade dancing on Saturday. Last year i took pics of her, as she dominated the top of the float , pageant waving at all her admirers. This year, she gets to ride, hop out, do a little dance, then ride some more.
My mom is coming this weekend. So nice that she now lives close.
The weather is glorious!! 70's crisp, and sunny, with a slight chill /breeze. I think I need to buy some mums.
My company is having a Halloween party - what should we go as? last time we did a couple, we went as Tom Cruise from Risky Business and his lady "friend". lol. I love being a flapper- love the fringy dress but i have done that for like...9 yrs or something, so i am ready for something else.
Is this too much info for you all? you will prob just comment on the halloween thing, bless your hearts. haha,kiddingggggggg/

When you say you're a host family does that mean she'll stay with you for 9 months?
I want to dress up for Halloween too, but I'm not sure what I'll do either. I haven't dressed up since I was a kid.

ok, the girl is not "living" with me, she has an apt with 4 other girls. i am her surrogate "mama" here for emergencies and to spoil her with lunches and movies when she needs a break from dorm life!! lol
if you move to colorado, i am getting a new best friend!! LOL

Florida, huh? I didn't know there was a date set. Hmmm....Well, I said Charleston in June, whether you come or not Trey, and it happened, soooo...
Halloween? I dunno. We want to have a Halloween party on the 13th here, but then we'd have to dress up, and I can't think of anything. I can't wear my wedding dress this year, for obvious reasons. However, it would seem appropriate since the 13th is our fifth anniversary. You guys could dress up as Peter Pan and Tinker Bell...that's what TJ and Alison are dressing up as!
