this is a picture julia made for us at preschool last week. isnt it sweet? she is so advanced :) haha.... can you read it? instead of "and" she writes "in" . we do great things, like cook for her (we ALSO clothe her and give her a roof over her head!)

You know, a LOT of my students at DJJ had the same problem differentiating b/t 'and' and 'in'. Funny.

We've got a 4yo, and I almost can't wait until he starts writing, so I can see what words he's been getting wrong the whole time.
She probably just heard it as 'in' instead of 'and.' Think about it:
"First, we're going to the zoo in then we're going for pizza in ice cream."
Actually, that sounds pretty darned good.
