deck the halls

My family is here for Christmas. They arrived last night, mom and dad. The kids are wildly excited and are being so dang noisy. My house is a bit chaotic since they brought their two dogs. it's all good though.
Last friday, wes and i had our first chance to go shopping for the kids. I almost had a stroke, spending the chunck that we did. usually we pick up one thing here and there and it is not such a shocker at once. but we are DONE!!! except stocking stuffers. i cannot wait!!!!!!! julia is getting an easy bake oven, a barbie "computer"-- a little portable talking quiz game: she wanted that, a doodlebear and a dancemat popstar thing,. Blake is getting a gameboy, chess set, an electric scooter from mom and dad. It is gonna be great!!
we are just sitting back sipping hot chocolate and sugar free cider! talk soon.

Sometimes its easier to do it all at once. I have been shopping doing here and there and going insane! I STILL have shopping to do. Argh! woo-hoo! Glad your parents are there for Christmas! Have a wonderful time with them!!!
