little bits of nothing-ness!
2005-08-18
Ok, sorry it took me till Wed to post. Went to church tonight- Emily and I just sat in the nursery and planned out our next four months of Moms Group stuff. It was overdue, so it was good we got it done....got home put the kids to bed and watched World Poker Tour- OMG we are sooo addicted to that dumb thing. Now every night, before bed, we watch freaking poker on TV... so much for O'Reilly, whom we LOVE but cards are better and more entertaining.. cards on tv, you ask? how can that be fun? i dont know- seems kind of like watching golf, but hey we like it.
Also went car shopping today while both kiddos were in school. Test drove some, and got encouraged because there are a lot of things that we liked in the "used" department as our second car.
Made a decision about Florida- Wes' boss says it would be best to stay with the Chili's here before requesting a transfer, as it will look better all the way around. Whenver Wes says the word, he is a shoe- in for NW florida, so that is good. SOO we are tentatively planning on the beginning of the summer to make a move. that pleases me in the sense that no one will have to stop what they are doing i.e. soccer, groups, school. Pray i make it till then. I went and had a pitcher of ritas with a friend the other night, so things are looking up! LOL>
Ok, here is a question. none of my friends have either of these and they prob thing i am tart girl who happens to be the mother of all things high-tech and electronic! So, i want you to play a little game- what are 2 things in your life that are silly and fun? non-necessitties
1. pimped out phone (sara's idea that i stole :) with ... shocker.... a ringtone with the BEP's on it.
2. my beloved Mp3 (guess they are not into music?)
Omg we are usually prettty strict about what our kids watch, etc.. but we have lost big time!! today i was watching PCD "dontcha" on AOL music on demand, and little diva julia has been going all around shaking her cute butt singing "dontcha wish your girlfriend was a freak like me!" OMG..... lol. <-- not really funny, huh? as we are in BIG trouble when this child is a pre-teen.
Blog lots tomorrow because we are staying home most of the day. (although Christi is loaning us her RIDE while she goes outta town. YAY!!!!!!! thanks girly :)

That song really sticks with you. Although he wasn't shaking his booty, it was on the Teen Choice Awards last night, and afterwards, TJ was going around singing it, too.
I can't believe you went out with SOMEONE ELSE and had margaritas! I'm so jealous!

Okay, summer is GOOD. I'm glad you feel good about the decision. You do right? So NW FL it is for sure? We are going to ST. Aug next weekend to check things out. Is there a Chilis there? C'mon Gina. :)
I am like the middle girl with my stuff. I have friends that have much much more than I do. But I have a really nice camera, (yet I do need that). I do have things I don't need but compared to most people around here we live modest. :) Compared to Idaho I'm living large. LOL :)

Sounds like a good decision. The kids will get to finish the school year. I'll have to make lots of trips to Irmo between now and then!
