I flutter in and out of wanting to move. I cannot stand to be "stagnet". gotta keep on moving. I feel like I (we) have accomplished this place; does that make sense? like, there is nothing else here for us. As much as i love the absolute cheesieness of it, like we are on first name basis with the dry cleaner people, i see people everywhere i go, like fiona, bryce's mom, who suggested lavarian (SP?) the sleep aid. i know i will miss this place, and worry , what if wherever we choose to go isnt as good as it is here? i am not easily satisfied with living in one place. since i was 18, mobile AL for two years, then pensacola FLA for two years, then san francisco, then san antonio , then charleston, now columbia (dont come stalk me cause you know where i am!). not bad for 14 yrs. you see why i am itching?

I am willing to take the chance. My hearts desire is the beach. Maybe San Luis Obispo. Maybe St. Augustine, Maybe Vero Beach, Maybe the outer banks. are there Chili's restaurants at these places? lol. can we afford any of these? how long do you settle? this is a perfect place to raise our children. but it is a little "too" perfect. this is not my style. i am still a rebel at heart, even tho i am a MOM, i want the best for my babies, and would die for that, but i am not sure about settling in suburbia. there is a whole big bad wonderful world out there.

going to scan over my "rent tuscany" book i got in the mail last week.. hey dont be surprised. ya never freaking know.
--disclaimer; if this doesnt makes sense, i had 3 margaritas. EVERY time i have music blaring , blog on the brain, and rita in hand , i get all nostaglic and itchy. where is my speaker on which to dance????
song of the day/ no doubt- its my life

I feel you. I don't want to be here anymore, either, but for different reasons. Of course, I just want to go home, so I guess I kinda don't feel you really. Well, you get it, right?

A thought, though. When I was growing up, we moved a lot, even though it was mostly w/in the Charleston area. What I hated was that I never got to have friends that I had grown up with. I was so happy when we finally settled in Dorchester 2 district when I was in middle school, b/c I got to actually know people for more than a year or two and make real friends. I was always jealous of those kids who had grown up in the town together and had deep roots and whose families were well-known. Of course, then again, times have changed a bit now, but...something to think about...

I think it's great to get new surroundings and new challenges all the time. I like to be on the move too. My problem is I don't know where next.

Be nice to your ears.
