wahh i am a crybaby

i have said this many times. but i will say it again. i get so sick of people who do not think like i do. lol. i TRY to be very sensitive and caring. my mother did it to me. she made me this way. it is a gift , of sorts. i am an overachiever most times with people. if you are hurting, i will bring you a meal. if you are down, i will call you. if it is your birthday, i will take you to coffee or lunch- i dont think this is unreasonable- i think everyone should do these things.
point being, we went to DH's family holiday party and it sucked. we drove almost 3 hours to get there .i am a vegetarian, have been for 14 yrs. today, there was not one thing i could eat. usually this is not a big deal, i can find something to eat at a big party.... today, there was venison with bacon, rice with chicken and sausage, turkey, and beans cooked with ham. gawwwwwww... no fruit, no salad, no nothing! i got my feelings so hurt, i went out to the kids swingset and hung with the little girls and cried.
i called missy today for her birthday- she said whoopps sorry i forgot to call you two weeks ago on your birthday. i get my feelings too hurt and i know i am tart.

Hold up! It was your birthday two weeks ago? Did I know this? Please don't tell me I missed it! Oh goodness! Did you put it on here? Did I comment? Did I get you something? I have to look. I might have. Do you know that I cannot even remember what I had for breakfast this morning! Oh, but I do remember Julia's play. I will remember that for a while, very cool! I suck.

Wow, apparently I did know it was your birthday. I do suck. I bet that means I got you something, and don't even realize it. I did do some shopping a couple of weeks ago. I will look back through it and figure out what I got. Perhaps that's why I was so drawn to go to Ross.

Happy Belated Birthday! So sorry about that whole situation...I don't blame you for feeling bad. It's OK! And we're all entitled to a "mood" every now and then.
